Thank you for the gradual motion of the feet of time, for changes that make me grow, for a life that is not stagnant, for the dreams in my heart, for the hope that keeps them alive.

Thank you for weakness, for reasons to depend on you, for the humility born from falling, for lessons learned from failing, maturity birthed by mistakes.

Thank you for rain, the relaxing sound of it falling, the smell of the earth after the first drops, and for the life it pours into the fields of crops.

Thank you for love, for the ones who are always there, for hearts that know the worst about me, still see the good & still believe the best about me, for shoulders to lean on, for the hands that fold everyday praying for me& for the arms that embrace me.

Thank you for intangible magic! For the way music makes me feel, for the wind in my face in the morning when I run, for my mother’s voice on the phone, for angels I can’t see, but whose wings brush gently near my ears.

Thank you for tomorrow, for the plans you have for me, for the prizes we will win, for the laughs we will have, and for already being there, in the places where I will be tempted to give up.

Thank you for yesterday, for the journeys, the faces, countless opportunities, timeless memories. Thank you for the millions of small puzzle pieces that are adding up to make me the person you have in mind.

Thank you for You. For your unconditional love, for your faithfulness, your provident hand, your saving grace, your footprints by my side, and your signature on my life.

Thank you the little things that make life beautiful. For hammocks, and sunshine, butterflies, and caramel lattes, for big soft towels, and sea shells, and candles, and honey mustard, for smooth jazz, and cheesecake, flip-flops, weekends, pedicures, good books & beautiful poems. For pillows, and hot chocolate, hot men &hot sauce. Just kidding about the hot sauce, but thank you, for my cheap thrills, my guilty pleasures and all my shallow delights.
